Information flow control regulates where information is allowed to travel within a network and between interconnected networks. The flow of all network traffic must be monitored and controlled so it does not introduce any unacceptable risk to the network infrastructure or data.
Review the Voice Video system design documents. DISN Voice Precedence service must be implemented in the Voice Video system to automatically terminate sessions of lower priority when sessions of higher priority require connections or bandwidth. If the Voice Video system design does not implement DISN Voice Precedence service to automatically terminate sessions of lower priority, this is a finding.
Design and document the DISN Voice Precedence service in the Voice Video system that automatically terminates sessions of lower priority. The DISN Voice Precedence must support mission-critical decision makers. The DISN Voice Precedence service is addressed in the CJCSI 6211.02D, DoDI 8100.04, and the current Unified Capabilities Requirements (UCR) documents.
