Part of Prevent performance of First Run Customize setting
Associated with IA controls: ECSC-1
This policy setting prevents performance of the First Run Customize settings ability and provides central management controls of what web page will be provided to the user when they launch Internet Explorer for the first time after installation of Internet Explorer. If you enable this policy setting, you can configure one of two choices:
Set the policy value for Computer Configuration -> Administrative Templates -> Windows Components -> Internet Explorer -> "Prevent performance of First Run Customize settings" to “Enabled” and select "Go directly to home page" from the drop-down box.
Lavender hyperlinks in small type off to the right (of CSS
class id
, if you view the page source) point to
globally unique URIs for each document and item. Copy the
link location and paste anywhere you need to talk
unambiguously about these things.
You can obtain data about documents and items in other
formats. Simply provide an HTTP header Accept:
text/turtle
or
Accept: application/rdf+xml
.
