IDMS is a database management system that provides the facilities to design, create, access, and manage database files. Unauthorized access to IDMS system data sets could result in the compromise of the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the IDMS region, applications, and customer data.
Refer to the following report produced by the Data Set and Resource Data Collection: ACF2 - SENSITVE.RPT(ID.MSRPT) RACF - SENSITVE.RPT(IDMSRPT) - RACFCMDS.RPT(LISTUSER) - RACFCMDS.RPT(LISTGRP) TSS - SENSITVE.RPT(IDMSRPT) - SENSITVE.RPT(GLOBRPT) Verify that the accesses to the CA IDMS data sets are properly restricted. If the following guidance is true, this is not a finding. (for All ACPs) ___ The ACP data set access authorizations restricts READ access to auditors. ___ The ACP data set access authorizations restricts WRITE and/or greater access to systems programming personnel. (For RACF) ___ The RACF data set access authorizations specify UACC(NONE) and NOWARNING.
Verify with the IAO that all IDMS system data sets are protected by the ACP so only authorized users can access these data sets and only with the appropriate levels of permission.
Lavender hyperlinks in small type off to the right (of CSS
class id
, if you view the page source) point to
globally unique URIs for each document and item. Copy the
link location and paste anywhere you need to talk
unambiguously about these things.
You can obtain data about documents and items in other
formats. Simply provide an HTTP header Accept:
text/turtle
or
Accept: application/rdf+xml
.
