AUTOERASE will force TSS to erase all residual information on DASD.
a) Refer to the following report produced by the TSS Data Collection: - TSSCMDS.RPT(STATUS) - Classification of System Automated Analysis requiring Additional Analysis Refer to the following report produced by the TSS Data Collection: - PDI(TSS0270) NOTE: AUTOERASE is optional for Unclassified Systems. b) If the AUTOERASE Control Option value is set to YES for classified systems, there is NO FINDING. c) If the AUTOERASE Control Option value is NOT set to YES for classified systems, this is a FINDING.
The IAO will ensure AUTOERASE control option is set to (YES) for Classified systems and is at the sites discretion for Unclassified systems to erase all residual information on DASD. Evaluate the impact associated with implementation of the control option. Develop a plan of action to set the AUTOERASE control option to (YES) for classified systems and implement.
