In order to prevent unauthorized connection of devices, unauthorized transfer of information, or unauthorized tunneling (i.e., embedding of data types within data types), organizations must disable or restrict unused or unnecessary physical and logical ports/protocols on information systems.
Verify the BIND 9.x server is configured to listen on UDP/TCP port 53.
Inspect the "named.conf" file for the following:
options {
listen-on port 53 {
Edit the "named.conf" file.
Add the following line to the "options" statement:
listen-on port 53 {
Lavender hyperlinks in small type off to the right (of CSS
class id
, if you view the page source) point to
globally unique URIs for each document and item. Copy the
link location and paste anywhere you need to talk
unambiguously about these things.
You can obtain data about documents and items in other
formats. Simply provide an HTTP header Accept:
text/turtle
or
Accept: application/rdf+xml
.
