The INSTDATA Control Option controls the value of the 4-byte global data installation data area. This value is passed to the security exit developed at a particular site.
a) Refer to the following report produced by the TSS Data Collection: - TSSCMDS.RPT(TSSPRMFL) Automated Analysis Refer to the following report produced by the z/OS Data Collection: - PDI(TSS0410) b) If the INSTDATA Control Option is set to (0), there is NO FINDING. c) If the INSTDATA Control Option is set to a value other than (0), this is a FINDING.
Evaluate the impact associated with implementation of the control option. Develop a plan of action to set the INSTDATA control option value to (0) and proceed with the change.
