Without establishing where events occurred, it is impossible to establish, correlate, and investigate the events leading up to an outage or attack.
Examine the traffic log configuration on the firewall or view several alert records on the organization's central event log server. Verify the entries sent to the traffic log include the location of each event (e.g., network name, network subnet, port, or network segment). If the traffic log events do not include the event location, this is a finding.
Configure the firewall to ensure entries sent to the traffic log include the location of each event (e.g., network name, network subnet, network segment, or port).
Lavender hyperlinks in small type off to the right (of CSS
class id
, if you view the page source) point to
globally unique URIs for each document and item. Copy the
link location and paste anywhere you need to talk
unambiguously about these things.
You can obtain data about documents and items in other
formats. Simply provide an HTTP header Accept:
text/turtle
or
Accept: application/rdf+xml
.
