The telnet daemon provides a typically unencrypted remote access service which does not provide for the confidentiality and integrity of user passwords or the remote session. If a privileged user were to log on using this service, the privileged user password could be compromised.
Determine if the telnet daemon is running. # svcs telnet If the telnet service is enabled, this is a finding.
Disable the telnet daemon. # svcadm disable telnet # svcadm refresh inetd
Lavender hyperlinks in small type off to the right (of CSS
class id, if you view the page source) point to
globally unique URIs for each document and item. Copy the
link location and paste anywhere you need to talk
	unambiguously about these things.

You can obtain data about documents and items in other
formats. Simply provide an HTTP header Accept:
	text/turtle or
	Accept: application/rdf+xml.
