NIS/NIS+/yp files are part of the system's identification and authentication processes and are, therefore, critical to system security. Unauthorized modification of these files could compromise these processes and SLES for vRealize.
Perform the following to check NIS file ownership: # ls -la /var/yp/* If the NIS file's mode is more permissive than "0755", this is a finding.
Change the mode of NIS/NIS+/yp command files to "0755" or less permissive:
# chmod 0755 
	Lavender hyperlinks in small type off to the right (of CSS
	class id, if you view the page source) point to
	globally unique URIs for each document and item. Copy the
	link location and paste anywhere you need to talk
	unambiguously about these things.
	
      
	You can obtain data about documents and items in other
	formats. Simply provide an HTTP header Accept:
	text/turtle or
	Accept: application/rdf+xml.
